Largely based on the idea that the future is female, NEPA herstory seeks to showcase the power of women who live in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The collection shares their stories and gives you a glimpse into their lives. Countless women have expressed their triumphs, struggles and insights and have given words of encouragement and advice. Participants also discuss how women as a whole can lift each other up and rise in the face of adversity. Part of the collection was first shown at AFA Gallery, Scranton, in October of 2018. Since then, the collection has continued to grow as more women agree to share their narrative.
